($500 non-refundable deposit is due upon registration. If you choose NOT to pay the entire balance of the tuition upon the registration,  you agree that we charge the tuition for each session automatically on this credit card for your convenience 60 days before each session unless you notify us otherwise in advance.)

** If you choose not to pay by credit card, we can NOT guarantee your seat until your payment is received by us. ALL checks must be drawn on USA Banks - US Dollars Only. Please make the check payable to: Institute of Integrative Veterinary Medicine. Please include your name & program of study on the memo line if paying by a company check. The payment must be received by us at least 30 days before each session to receive the early registration rate.

The following policies apply to all on-site and on-line classes offered by the Integrative Veterinary Medical Institute (IVMI)

I. Registration

A. Enrollment
Students can enroll for on-site and on-line classes by contacting IVMI as follows:

B. Confirmation of enrollment

For IVMI on-site and on-line class registrations each student or student representative will receive a confirmation of enrollment via e-mail. If you do not receive your confirmation, please contact IVMI at +1-352-591-1444.
C. Payment options 
IVMI offers several payment options. The payment method must be established at the time of registration for the class. Students may pay for the class fees via Credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express), or via Bank check, money order, or wire transfer. (Wire transfer instructions will be provided upon request.)
D. On-line Class access
Access to on-line classes is only available via an Internet connection. On-line class participants must have an appropriate user ID and password provided by IVMI to gain access. If the Student experiences difficulty in accessing the On-line Product, all support services are provided as stated in the access notification documentation.

II. Class Transfers

A. IVMI on-site and on-line class transfers will only be processed by calling our registration department directly at +1-352-591-1444 or emailing IVMI will confirm all transfer requests e-mail. If the student does not receive a confirmation of transfer within three (3) business days of the request, the student should call +1-352-591-1444 to reconfirm. Financial responsibility remains with the student for all class fees unless a proper transfer request is received and confirmed by IVMI prior to the start of the class.
B. On-site and On-line class transfers are subject to the following fees:

C. The student is responsible for paying any difference in tuition or fee increase between the registered class and the transferred class. A class registration can be transferred only ONCE. After the transfer, the registration is no longer cancellable or transferable and any payment associated with it is no longer refundable.

III. Class Cancellations

A. IVMI on-site and on-line class cancellations will only be processed by calling our registration department directly at +1-352-591-1444 or emailing IVMI will confirm all cancellations requests by e-mail. If the student does not receive a confirmation of cancellation within three (3) business days of the request, the student should call +1-352-591-1444 to reconfirm. Financial responsibility remains with the student for all class fees unless a proper cancellation request is received and confirmed by IVMI prior to the start of the class. International students attending a class are responsible for any government customs, regulations, and restrictions.If a student is refused entry into the United States, the standard cancellation charges will apply.
B. The following on-site and on-line class cancellation fee schedule applies:

Cancellations may be made by phone but a cancellation letter must be submitted to the Integrative Veterinary Medical Institute via fax, mail or email and signed by the student who is canceling before the refund is issued. The following cancellation fees apply. In fairness to others, we cannot make exceptions.

  • Cancellation requested more than 30 days prior to the Session – 100% refund.*
  • Cancellation requested 8-30 days prior to the Session – 50% refund.*
  • No refund within 7 days of the Session.

* For all refunds of payment by credit card, 4% of the refundable amount will be charged as a transaction fee.

IV. Fees and Refunds
A. All cancellation and transfer fees will be charged to credit cards provided by the student at the time of registering for the class.
B. For a cancellation with payment(s), the refund of the paid amount less the cancellation fee will be issued. All refunds for credit card payments are subject to 4% of the total refund amount as a processing charge.

V. Miscellaneous

A. Non-smoking facilities
The IVMI is dedicated to providing a clean and comfortable environment for all, as such, smoking is NOT permitted in any areas of the IVMI.
B. Classroom and Wet Lab dress code
The dress code in all IVMI classroom facilities is casual. Please be aware that all indoor facilities are air-conditioned and a light jacket or sweater may be preferred. All students participating equine or large animal wet labs are required to wear boots or horse working shoes for safety.
C. Recording policy
IVMI strictly prohibits the recording and rebroadcast of audio or video of our classes and educational events. This applies to on-line and on-site events.
D. Participant Exclusion
IVMI reserves the right to exclude a participant from attending any Course due to disorderly conduct, failure to observe any of IVMI's rules of participation, or failure to attend the prerequisite class(es) for a particular Course. IVMI reserves the right to deny the participant a refund under these, or other, circumstances.
E. Intellectual property
All IVMI class materials, including class handouts, training manuals, exams, homework and on-line lecture or lab video, etc.,are confidential and proprietary information of IVMI and copyrighted by IVMI. The student agrees not to disclose any of this information to any third party or use such information except as expressly permitted herein.The student acknowledges that it is illegal and a violation of this agreement to copy or distribute any IVMI class materials among non-registered persons without written authorization from IVMI. The student acknowledges that IVMI shall be entitled to seek injunctive relief and damages for any breach of this agreement by Student from which irreparable harm would ensue.
F. Data protection, privacy
IVMI uses secure technologies to protect Students' personal data. The Student agrees to the collection, processing, and use of his or her personal data to the extent necessary for processing the registration. IVMI may use Students' postal and e-mail addresses for promotions (for example, invitations to classes, class news, and registration in IVMI's student database). However, IVMI uses opt-in procedures for its promotions where the receiver expressly agrees in advance to receive information. In any case, IVMI allows the recipient to opt out of a mailing list at any time. 
G. Disclaimer
IVMI reserves the right to cancel, and/or reschedule any published scheduled class. The student's sole remedy shall be the refund of prepaid course fees. IVMI is not responsible for airfare, lodging, or other related expenses including any airline penalties incurred. Under no circumstances shall IVMI be liable for any direct, or indirect, consequential, or special damages. IVMI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND RESULTING FROM ERRORS OR OMISSIONS IN THE TRAINING MATERIALS, NOR SHALL IVMI BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE USE OF THE TRAINING MATERIALS OR OTHER INFORMATION CONVEYEDIN A IVMI COURSE.

H. Student Agreements

1. As a condition to enrollment and participation in any class or course offering, all students waive all liability of IVMI and its agents and representatives (the "Released parties") and agree to hold the Released parties harmless, indemnify them, discharge them, covenant not to sue them, and reimburse them for any liability, claims, sums, costs, or other expenses incurred by any student that may be caused in whole or in part by participating in any class or course offered by IVMI.
2. Each student understands that a photographer may be present to photograph the activities at any course or class offered by IVMI and that each student may be photographed while participating in the class or course.
