CE Course Overview

The Certified Veterinary Medical Manipulation Practitioner CE Course (CVMMP) is a 119 CE hour course (approved by RACE) that trains and certifies licensed veterinarians in Equine Veterinary Medical Manipulation (VMM). This course is offered to veterinarians or veterinary school students exclusively and provides veterinarians with the opportunity to learn VMM more efficiently and effectively, while taking their skills and knowledge to a deeper level. This course is split up into 5 sessions. 2 sessions take place online while 3 sessions takes place on-site at the spacious IVMI campus in the greater Ocala area in Central Florida.

32 hours of the CVMMP Course are set aside for intensive, hands-on wet lab learning in small groups with horses. The lab group size is limited to 4 students to ensure that each student receives the maximum amount of individual attention and hands-on experience for practicing VMM (or chiropractic) on horses.

Veterinary Medical Manipulation Overview

The Veterinary Medical Manipulation course here at IVMI is the result of a merging partnership with IVMI and the Pasteur Equine Learning Institute (PELI) that took place during 2013. The Equine Veterinary Medical Manipulation course was designed on the building block of PELI’s Equine Spinal Manipulation course. PELI had been offering its Equine Spinal Manipulation course since 2011. Now, the IVMI and former PELI faculty are proud to offer the renamed and redesigned Equine Veterinary Medical Manipulation course. In 2016 IVMI began offering their Veterinary Medical Manipulation course to not only equine practitioners, but to small animal practitioners as well by creating a new track in the coruse.
