About IVMI

The Integrative Veterinary Medical Institute (IVMI) was founded in 2014 in the Ocala, FL area, also known as the Horse Capital of the World.  Our mission is to offer top-notch integrative veterinary medicine certification exclusively to licensed veterinarians.

IVMI courses include Small Animal Veterinary Medical Manipulation (SAVMM) and Equine Veterinary Medical Manipulation (EVMM), which was absorbed by IVMI in 2014 after 3 years of successful operation by the Pasteur Equine Learning Institute since 2011. The IVMI starts to offer Certified Veterinary Rehabilitation and Performance Medicine Practitioner (CVRPMP) course (available in Canine or Equine track) in 2019. All IVMI courses are AAVSB RACE approved or pending approval.

Our faculty consists of world-renowned integrative veterinary practitioners and instructors. We are proud to offer unique continuing education training courses to veterinarians who are seeking more options and better care for their patients.

Fall and Winter weather in North Central Florida is generally mild. Mornings can begin in the 30's, yet usually warm up to the 60's or 70's by noon. Clothing to bring includes long pants and light winter attire. Leather boots are ideal for working around horses.

Spring and Summer temperatures can easily reach the 90's with high humidity, and shorts and cooler shirts are recommended for outdoor labs during this time. Do note though, that our barns are equipped with shade and fans.
